I just got my two citi aa cards and wondering what is the best product to switch to? A platinum product with no annual fee and some possible rewards is what I have in mind. I know a lot of you has done this citi doublerouski so please let the inputs flow. Thanks.

    grad8,

I like Sony Platinium Select Card and it is not a bad card to have.

Everyone is always talking about the Citi Silver and Gold and I went to the site to investigate.

I saw both of them had a yearly fee.... was I maybe looking at the wrong cards?

Is it customary for rewards cards to have yearly fees???

    Ozzy,

I would have love to keep the cards but I am trying to stay away from cards with annual fees and I have also read here several times that you can convert it to something else.

Yes, it is the norm for rewards cards to have higher APRs and annual fees. However once you get the Citi AA cards it is easy to convert to a no-fee product.

gad8, okay, so I'm not crazy then! There *are* annual fees with those cards!

    Thanks!

citibank platinum select (plain) is the best interest rate card they offer. If thats your deal, carrying a balance you want this card. If not, choose a rewards card that suits you best.
