    Hi Folks:

I'm interested in knowing if there is a website or other source that details specifically which credit bureau report(s) will be pulled based on the credit card bank and/or loan company. Secondly, is it based on your zip code?

For example: If I applied for an American Express card and live in Honolulu (zip 96814), which
    report(s) would be pulled.

    Any help here?

    Thank you

I agree with this post. If everyone posts which bureau and creditor along with the date posted on his/her cr it would give others insight as to which companies use which bureau.

Below are my findings so far. Im looking for companies that use Experian whether Credit or Loan companies.

    CITI - TU - 6/17/06
    AMEX - EF - 6/14/06
BofA - TU - UNKNOWN DATE

I live in southern Louisiana, and they pull TU for most bank loans and mortgages here in the city where I live.
Local credit cards (Hibernia - now Capital One), pulled Equifax.

I applied for a Discover (yucko and long story), and they pulled Equifax. I didn't get it the first time, asked them to reconsider, and they pulled Experian.

    Chase Perfectcard pulled TU.

WOW - I forgot about that site, I use to visit there all the time before I applied for stuff!

    Thanks for the link!

Hehe, ya, it looks slow, but alot of the info is still good ;)

Last night I saw that there were only 5 messages for 2006...so I'm hopin some of the people here that know about it now can go there and contribute to it/keep it going.

Maybe so, but it's one of the few resources of it it's kind. If it's added to, the data won't be stale anymore, will it?
