    Which is right?

Online (3 reports in 1) e.g. PrivacyGuard (via AOL CreditAlert)

or the one we write for credit report from each agency?

I noticed difference between them (online shows Experian as my Honda Auto loan in Collections or Charge Off while I got Experian in the u.s. mail shows NOT!

    WTF!

    Help! thanks in advance!

The three in one reports are always going to have a possability of inconsistancies, or flat out incorrect information. I always feel that getting a paper copy from each of the 3 CRA's at least once a year and keeping it on file is good. A paper copy directly from the CRA can help you a lot more than a printout from your computer as evidince of anything changing or not changing if you need it in a lawsuit against the CRA or others.

ESPECIALLY if you have any issues with the CRA and think you may be suing them, you (IMHO) need to have paper copies directly from them. They could just claim "The third party 3 in 1 provider must have gotten his files messed up" and end up getting off on a technicality.

Just a thought. Isn't $30 every six months or year worth the peace of mind to CYA?
