Well, I'm about to apply for a credit card with my grandmother... I have "something" bad on my credit? and nothing positive... But I "technically" make 50,000/year (altho I make more... dunno if they can track that via my bank account?) - She makes 20,000/year but has PERFECT credit (she's old too.. hehe) I just want a low rate card, a high limit if I can.. but I dont want to apply and get rejected.. lol, What is the best offer really? And should I go join or just request an additional card in my name?
One more question... When I fill out this application.. It says household income... I dont live with my grandma If I put her as main applicant with her address... Then me as co-applicant with another address I add her and my money that we make? or the two households (do i count my parnets even tho they wont be on it) <-- wow, that ads up to a lot
If you DON'T live with grandma...you CAN'T put her income as TOTAL HOUSEHOLD INCOME...but if you get a "paper" application, MADE FOR JOINT ACCOUNTS, it would have her income then your income...(on seperate lines).
Hey.. I just applied for a card from usbank.com - I got accepted, $2,000.. 14% - Not bad.. Im happy! I did a joint application.
Congratulations. Hey that Harley Davidson card is TOO COOL looking! Did you get your Grandma THAT card? hehehe I want one! Spend wisely, you are going to be affecting your grandma's credit as much as she is going to be affecting your's. MazelTov. -Peace, Dave BTW that picture of Einstein cracked me up.
I make a lot... Nah but really... I do about 3,000/mo in CHECK card transactions... Instead of doing it 100% on my check card I want to do it on the credit card.. but put the money on the side.. that way i can earn credit on all this stuff.. Just like I should have been doing for a while.
