While Disputes are going on?

I have recently filed disputes with all 3 CRA. Someone said it was a good time to apply for a home loan during the process. Due to the fact all the items with errors will come up as 'being disputed'.

    Is this true?

How would this effect your Becon/FICO scores?

Make them better, worse or the same?

    Thanks,
    Becky

I can only comment on Equifax, whenever I disputed an item ( same one every time) this was NOT factored into the scoring, however it is still there plain as day on the reports, just states consumers disputes it. So even though you lender may see a higher score, they will still see the negatives and this will be a concern for them.

    I would echo Mom's notes....

Experian's Credit Expert does not change your score while in dispute. Equifax does, but not the same as if the line was positive. I'm not sure about TU.

I would wait to apply for ANY credit until you're cleared....
