I have a situation. I have a collection acct in the amount of $35 dollars on my Experian report. That's the only thing that's neg. on my report. It's a pain in the a@# since it's so little. I told the collection agency that I would pay it in ful,l if they would remove it from my report. They said they couldn't do that. Anyway I have a letter from the orig. creditor who was a gym asking for the removal on my report. Do I send this in to Experian, or do I need a letter from the collection agency who's reporting it on my report. It does list the orig. creditors name in the body of the listing with the collection acct. being the main name on it. What are my options? Should Experian remove it if I send the letter that the creditor gave me? This little stupid thing is holding me back. Thanks!
