Heya!!! Does anybody know who Dell pulls... I can't find the link for that mill place..LOL...but I know it has Mill in it, right? teehee Thanks in advance
Heres the link but Dell is not listed. If you do apply please add the CRA to the list once you find out who they pulled. http://www.millcbs.com/cralist.asp
When I financed my Dell, they pulled Experian. However, it does not ever show up as a loan on any of the CRAs. For me anyway, they have never reported to any CRA to my knowledge. Illini
Dell pulls experion always. A score over 640 should get you a 5k credit line. Better credit will get you a 90 day no interest deal. They do not report to the cras.
Illini and Eddie please add the inquiry they did to the cra list site, again it's: www.millcbs.com/cralist.asp
Not that this will help nana, but it's another site that lists who they pull. http://www.creditmania.com/thelist.asp
CRA Inquiry List I really like the www.millcbs.com/cralist.asp so much better because it lists by the state you are in (they ask for your zip code to enter on the list) so it's more likely to be accurate for your state or "region." So far, of what I've seen it's a pretty good list. Too bad AMEX pulls all three at random or so it would seem. If everyone here added their known cra inquiries to the list (even if it's already been added by someone else from your state, add it anyway) it could be really helpful.
Bummer I got the needs further processing line... says 3 things could have happened.. 1) needs more credit analysis 2) couldn't get report 3) info didn't match up So...guess I'll get told in 2 business days though I'm not very confident. It's confusing because I'm technically employed by 2 school districts right now. I went ahead and put the one I had the longest time employed, not my new one..maybe I messed it up..but it's technically the truth. They did say I could go ahead and order my system...which I did...but I sad...I hate wasted inquiries!
Re: Bummer So did they tell you how to handle the "needs further processing" bit? Can you call someone or fax someone with details or to ask what exactly it was that didn't match up, etc.? You're right, it could have been your new address. Is this the first time you've applied anywhere using the new address? I would send all three CRA's a copy of a utility statement with your name on it and ask them to include the new address as your "current" address.
Re: Bummer No, Mist...they just said it could be one of those 3 reasons I mentioned. I'm only guessing on the reasoning being the address. We shall see...they said 2 business days and so I guess that means Tuesday or Wednesday. I've been on an approval streak and I hate the thought of ending it.
Re: Bummer When I was approved, it only took a couple of hours for it to come through. This was a couple of years ago though.
Re: Bummer Nana- My opinion.....prob the address issue. Address issues are very with the 'tech' instant credit due to credit card fraud. Stolen credit cards and 'info' are usually used to buy electronic merchandise as its easiest to resell. Think about it....most identity thieves don't go on shopping spree's at Lane Bryant, HA! FYI, the job part will most likely not matter at all. The part is so innacurate most people seem to ignore it. AND, I was told several times by mortgage people that, if you have been in the same profession, you can report that whole time as length of employment. For instance, you are a teacher. Say you have been for 30years, but you were moved through three different disctricts. From what I heard, you still report 30 years as you have always been a teacher. I am sure someone who knows more about this will chime in and let us know for sure..... Anyway, keep us posted. It is most likely because of the address. Shawn
Re: Bummer Shoot, I put 3 years..could have put 15? Aw, well. You post did make me feel better!! Thanks so much!
Re: who handles The inquiry was American Investment Bank. So, I know that it wasn't because they couldn't get my report and my address is correct on there, so not that. So, we are down to needs futher analyzing of credit info...not a good sign at all!
