Some one recently applied for a Citi AA Silver card and got 4 instead. I was just wondering what your income was like and your scores, if you dont mind sharing. And if they told you anything when you applied. Did you call and inquire about the status of your app, and thats when you found out or was it in the mail. Do you have many other credit cards? thanks for responding.
i was wondering with a tu score of 541 what are my chances?? what if i do bt will this help any feedback would be helpful
I got 4 Citi cards from the BDD and I think there were 1 or 2 other people who got several cards this way also. In my situation, I had problems submitting my application - was told to try back later after I hit submit. So I tried back later and got the Silver with a $9,000 limit. Immediately tried to get the gold and got another error message. Tried a few more times and got a message that I was approved for a Gold AA with a $9,000 limit. So I thought I'd combine 'em both into the Plat. Select with a nice $18,000 limit. Thought that was great until I got my mail a few days later - got like 7 letters from Citi welcoming me and one telling me I'd already applied for the maximum number of accounts. This is when I called and found out that I'd been approved for 4 accounts with other applications still pending. I cancelled those pending applications, combined the 4 cards into a $32,000 cl. I listed $66,000 as my income. My TU score at the time was about 675 give or take a few points. Hope this helps ya. Ozzy.
