I was driving up the highway heading to a store I used to go to a lot and I saw a new (to me) turn-off with a stop light. I remember there was a lot of construction in that area before I moved and so I assumed that this was a shortcut to get me to the shopping center. Well you know what they say about assumptions. I take the turn off and drive down a nicely landscaped road right up to a security gate and guard shack! About 100 yards from the gate is a nice glass & steel building. Obviously not the shopping center. Well I was going to turn around but there wasn't any room and a car was now blocking me. I push the button on the card reader and a guard answers. I told him that I had to turn around but there wasn't room. He chuckled and said if I was heading to the shopping center then I need to turn at the *next* light. The gate opens and I make my way out. I made it to the shopping center but when I left I went the long way around. And then I see it...the main entrance to the mystery building. It has big signs proclaiming the presence of Applied Card Systems and how they're hiring etc etc etc. They even showed a web site for jobs but I was driving byb too fast to get it. So who are they? I remember the name in connection with The Associates but that's it.
YOU have a few choices...(just guessing)... They make "BLANK" credit cards for VISA/MC/AMEX/DISCOVERCARD They make "BLANK" credit cards for RETAIL STORES They make "CARD KEYS" The local NEWSPAPER might know...they may even have an ad in the paper...

I believe that applied card systems if for cross country....are you in south florida?...I know that is where they have their main office.
Nope, I'm in Delaware. I talked to a friend who lives up that way. She got the web address: "Founded in 1987, Applied Card Systems ("ACS") is a credit card servicing company that manages and services VISA® and MasterCard® credit cards throughout the United States. Since its founding, ACS has experienced exponential growth, resulting in its ranking at #42 in 2000's Inc. 500 ratings of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. This growth has allowed ACS to assume a LEADERSHIP position in the credit card servicing industry. To further the growth, Applied Card Systems has opened a brand new, state of the art corporate headquarters building in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, in May of this year. The opening of this building will result in a substantial number of career opportunities for motivated individuals who wish to join a team of professionals dedicated to furthering the Company's growth. The new site is centrally located at the intersection of Routes 1 and 202 and is convenient to shopping, dining, and the many other amenities offered in the region. "
I was about to sue Cross Country Bank for several violations but contacted the CRA's to get the furnisher's address for Cross Country Bank. Guess what the address and contact info is??? Applied Card Systems of Delaware!! So I guess I will sue them since they are the one's the CRA's are claiming is reporting the Cross Country Tradeline. Just thought this was funny to mention. I have a feeling Applied Card Systems is Cross Country Bank or definetly affiliated with them. In either case they can answer for Cross Country in court when I sue them. Tac
somebody go work for them and they can screw up all of our validations on purpose. You will be- the mole.
ACS is owned by Cross Country Bank. I used to work for them in '97. They are the scum of the earth. They treat their customers terrible and their employees even worse! You DO NOT want to work for them. They maintain a bank, I believe, in Delaware because of that state's banking laws. That's why most banks have a branch in Delaware but have call centers else where. They are always expanding because they are subprime and they screw their customers. They have offices all over now. When I worked for them they only had 2 locations- Delaware and a new (back then) office in Boca Raton, FL. They are in the old IBM building in Boca.
