I've got an AR inquiry on EFX from 2/22. I don't think I have any collections owed. It could be from my dad.
OK... Called EFX. No need for alarm. That is affiliated with Capital One. I have an account in good standing with them. Whew! Thought there was a collection out there that I didn't know about!
Hey tmitchell, I saw the same thing on the same exact day! I have been super worried, but have not called anyone on it yet. I have a couple good Cap 1's too... What else did they tell you? Do you have any more detail ? I just wonder why Cap 1 would use this cryptic name for any type of account review....I usually see plain old CAPITAL ONE AR's on EFX.... Thanks, Joe
When I asked her about the inquiry she put me on hold and came back and said it's Cap1 and asked if I had any accounts with them. I said yep, thank you and hung up.
well, that actually concerns me. If the cosi receivable mgt is coded collection then the inquiry can hurt... If it shows on my reports, I'll call and ask about the coding...
It just shows up as Cosi Receivables Mgt. Scary title. I didn't notice any score drop and it did come in as AR so creditors SHOULDN'T see it.
