Who is Mr. Cooke??

    I've seen posts here about a Mr. Cooke at Capital One. Am I correct. I have two cards from them in very good standing but I had an account a few years ago that had one or two 30 day lates. I'm trying to clean up my report and was wondering if this Mr. Cooke could help me. I called Capital One over the weekend and the CSR advised that they can only go back 6 months to remove lates. He said he would check with his supervisor and I would be getting a letter in the mail to advise me of their decision. Any advise would be great!!!! Also, has anyone had any success in getting lates of their report from Countrywide mortgage after the mortgage has been settled and the account closed. THANKS AGAIN!!!!

    Mr. C. is the consumer advocate at CAP 1. You can email him by posting on www.PlanetFeedback.com or you can call him directly at 18009551455 ext. 6418. I've spoken to him couple of times. He is a very understanding and will honestly try to help you, if he can. Good Luck!

    Thanks javan!!! I'll try and call him this afternoon. I appreciate any help anyone else can offer on Mr. Cooke. Sounds like he's a decent guy and understands alot of the problems that are out there.
