    Lb ....They are showing up on DH files, and they have also turned over info on dh to MIDLAND..

    We have disputed this now 3x's and all have remained & verified ...now it is time to roll up the sleeves

    The best I can tell they have ALOT of complaints against them for deceptive trade etc etc

    Well, I am kinda in the same situation you are in, on my report, UCNB got me listed as Transferred/Account charged off .... then when I contacted Genesis Finacial to dispute the account, they told me that it was listed as a bankruptcy account, and demanded that I answer if I had a bankruptcy or not, if I didnt answer then they cant help me. So I did, and then they ask me to fax them a copy of my Bankruptcy petition to see if there is anything they can do for me. I did as asked, even proofing to them that UCNB clearly was not on there so it cant be a bankruptcy account nor did i ever have a UCNB card. Then I call them back and they pretty much told me that there is nothing they can do, even though I faxed them everything they asked for, I am now sending them another dispute letter requesting them to show me written proof that the account belongs to me. What should I do next>?? any ideas?? I also dispute it with Experian and twice it came back as verified... I dont understand how they can verify the info when they dont have any real info anyways.. HELP anyone?

    I am going to keep disputing & requesting Val..

    This Company is Crazy and full of CRAP!!!!!

    I have talked to all 3 CRA and told them of dates that I have requested & sent Certified Letters & Faxes and have never responded to us. I told them that this UNCB Company will be getting CC "d on my letters to the FTC, BBB, Texas AG Office and
    they are wrong for reporting such erroneous information . i asked them if UNCB has ever once in 7 mos sent them any competent shred of evidence that has Dh original SIG and copies of a full accounting of this GHOST ACCOUNT. They said No ... I say Ok how can you be 100% Sure?? Well they verified ... verified Whaat??? that this belongs to your Dh.... RUNAROUND

    I had these clowns give me a hard time. I just disputed UCNB with the CRA. They sold the account to Midland which was a little more work, but they finally broke down.

    For Midland collection, send Validation letter, dispute with CRA, send e-mail to BBB in Texas(this was the address I had)

    After 30 days if no answer from Validation letter and CRA verifies, send intenet to sue letter to Midland and mean what you say.

    Do not accept phone calls or talk to them. You will need a very good paper trail.

    This was my experience. Hope this helps

    If they sold it to Genesis follow the exact same steps above for Midland. I had to deal with Genesis as well.

    ===================
    1*They can't.
    Either Experian is saying they investigated when they didn't or the creditor is lying to Experian.
