IF I were thinking of a new credit card, I would need to apply to creditors who only pulled equifax or experian. Who pulls Experian or Equifax only when you applied and/or were approved for a Visa/Mc or Retail card. ie, I am avoididing TU. roni
Roni, In checking my denial letters (lol) I see that ANB pulls Equifax, AMEX pulls Equifax,CAP one pulls Exp, Providian pulls from Exp, AMEX also pulled my EXP, and Target pulls from Exp. Looking at my promo inquiries on Exp, I see Orchard, Direct Merchant Credit Corp., Sears and Cap One. I live in NY. Hope this helps.
