Who should I apply for....

    exp is 683. but have lots of inquires. anyone strictly score driven? how is Discover?

    Get the inquires removed. If there are a bunch in the last 6 months you may even hit 700. I have not worked on EXP yet but EQF took all of 20 mins on the phone and they were gone in a few hours.

    You can call the equifax dispute number it is here somewhere on the forum. I left it at work. You will need a report number when you call.

    I simply said I was afraid someone was applying for credit without my knowledge. And asked what I had to do and she said she would verify or remove all of the ones I stated. Of course if you got credit recently you do not want to say that one is bad if the TL is on the report they may frown at you. Of course being dumb consumers that we are we have no idea why all of these inquries are on there since I had not applied for credit.

    I would be leary of telling them that you were afraid someone was applying for credit with your name and SS#. It just might end you up in a department you don't want to be in!

    You can't depute inquiries with EX or TU, unless something has changed recently.
