According to United States Law, personal liability for a stolen credit card is 50 dollars. A shopper's liability is Zero if the retailer didn't get a signature. What does Australian Law say about matters such as these in Australia? Should an Australian consumer be worried about using his/her credit card over the internet as far as stolen creit card numbers are concerned?
(The former question is the most important, if you can answer that.)
