I have finally realized my life long dream. I got approved for a First National card with a $6500 credit limit, and I didn't even have to apply; it just came in the mail. This thing has scam written all over it. It should be called the Scamcard. Out of Las Vegas, no less. Actually it is a catalog card - grossly overpriced merchandise, minimum 30% down. I got my scissors out immediately and cut it up into little pieces. Is this considered sub-sub-sub prime? But, it did not have any interest charges. What a deal. I guess someone falls for this or they could not afford to send these out.
I just got one of those, too. I didn't bother to read the terms just sent it right to the shredder. I should have looked at the terms more closely, would have been good for a laugh!
