Why can't I pull my EX report?

A few weeks ago I signed up for the trial version of Credit Expert on Experian's website. I pulled a copy of my EX report with it and all was well. A day or two later I tried to pull another report and it came up with an error message. I no longer remember what the message said, but it was something to the effect of "We can't pull your report now, but please try again later or call customer service". This went on for a few days and I finally called customer service. They said that for some unknown reason they couldn't get my report from Experian. They said they could report it to their technicians, but it might take several weeks to fix and they recommended just canceling my service while I was still in the trial period. I thought that sounded quite strange, but since I didn't really intend to continue with them after the trial period anyway, so I just canceled.

I just recently signed up with privacy guard and tried to pull my first report and again it's coming back saying that they can't pull the report. I talked to their customer service and they said that they're getting everything but Experian. They reported the problem to their technicians and said that it may take several days to fix. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

In the mean time I really wanted to see what changes had been made to my EX report, so I went back to Experian's web site and decided to pay the $12 or whatever it is for a report right from them. I filled everything out and it came back and said that they were unable to verify my registration information and process my request online. I tried to call experian, but all I can get is a recording that tells me how to request a copy of my report by mail.

The really wierd thing is that it worked for me once... when I first signed up with credit expert I was able to pull a copy of the report... but it hasn't worked since then.

Has anyone run into this before? Any ideas on what to do or who to call at experian?

    Thanks,
    Brett
