Why do 2 CRAs delete and 1 did not?

I request that a particular trade line be deleted because it is not mine - to all 3 CRAs. Two CRAs - Experian and Trans Union delete - Equifax does not.

    Question is, did:

A: Loan company only responded to Equifax and not to Experian and Trans Union?

B: Only Experian and Trans Union investigated?

Any one had similar results in the past? Why are some items deleted at CRA "A" and "B" but not "C"? Each CRA get same dispute letter, sent out same day.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Equifax is bad to not investigate, especially if its a local affiliate.

Send a CYA letter to the OC.

Because they all don't do business the same way.

    They may have either...

not replied to the other two...
didn't provide enough information to satisfy the other two...
    any combination of the above...

each CA has their own policies on how to respond to a verification request, each CRA has their own policies on what an acceptable verification response is for any particular dispute.
