First, I had a collection agency rep call me an a-hole on the phone... we shall be going to court. Yesterday, I had one call me and I told him to send me the information on the account in the mail and I said "Goodbye" and hung up. I wasn't exactly rude about it. Well, he proceeded to call right back - and hung up as soon as I answered the phone. And (I assume it was the same guy) called 10 more times in a row that I didnt answer. I went to answer the 11th time to tell him what he could do and as soon as I answered he said "How does it feel (insert expletive here)?" and hung up on me. Why do I end up being called by all the nut cases at these collection agencies? Oh, I have only had 3 collection accounts IN MY LIFE. They are all from the late 80's - early 90's... they just wont go away. I think the largest amount on any of them is around $500.
