I looked on Myfico today n my score dropped from 572 to 551. And the alerts showed that 3 accounts were changed to under investigation.... I dont understand why my score would drop. How come no one told me this?
Read this Credit Tip in our learning center: Will Disputing an Account Hurt My Credit Score?. The dispute itself doesn't actually hurt your credit score, but sometimes disputes can have unintended effects.
I don't understand what it meant... is it sayin once its over it will go back to the normal score it was???
What happens will of course depend on the outcome of the dispute. But in the meantime, the account in dispute may not even be included in your credit score computation, which is why it can sometimes have an unintended effect on your scores.
So since my score dropped 20 points because of the disputes... if they don't change my score just dropped 20 points for nothing? That's bs
What I don't understand is why you are trying to play the other man's game to start off with. We all need to learn that we cannot play the other man's game and win because we have to play by his rules. When we do that the other man wins almost every time. That's why I never bother to even check credit reports. I really don't care what the score is. Either I can get credit or I can't. Lots of people think I must be nuts or something to feel the way I do but the reality is that by doing things my way I win and the other man loses because he is expecting me to be a nice little guy and play his game by his rules which isn't going to ever happen. (LOL)
Well I rather have a nice house for me n my kids n since I can get a 80k home that's 2500 square ft wit low monthly payments I figure the man screwed him self over enough haha
