Went to Court (status call) Judge suggested Atty and I speak and if can't settle - pretrial on Aug. 29th. Atty gave me card and asked that I call him. Have called him 5 times and only get his voice mail. He has not called back once. Comeone from his office also called (different phone number) on the day I returned from court and left message for me to call. Called her 5 times - again voice mail and no response from her either. What do I do now. I will put in writing and send CRRR a letter to him stating all the dates and times I have attempted to reach him and this other person inhis office to no avail, but what comes next. Anything you can suggest? And what docs will I now need to prepare and serve prior to the pre-trial hearing? ANY help from you at all would be MOST appreciated. I thought it was going to try to settle this and I would probably have even given him more than I legitimately owed, just to stop any future garnishment or lien from this debt.
