I know it's a pain in the a$$, but I would sincerely appreciate it. A lady sued Equifax and part of her case was based on the fact that once the Complaint had been filed, they took her credit report offline in oder to "protect the consumer" from republishing inaccuracies. This lady was denied credit because her report was showing as "not available online". The court said that this had bearing on the Plaintiff's credit worthiness and was in itself a communication and defined as a "consumer report".
