Whyspers! Need your help!

    L,
    you posted this in a thread to Christi a few months back. I was wondering if you could find the actual case you mentioned in this post. I know it's a pain in the a$$, but I would sincerely appreciate it.

    Christi...I just found a case about this very thing! A lady sued Equifax and part of her case was based on the fact that once the Complaint had been filed, they took her credit report offline in oder to "protect the consumer" from republishing inaccuracies. This lady was denied credit because her report was showing as "not available online". The court said that this had bearing on the Plaintiff's credit worthiness and was in itself a communication and defined as a "consumer report". You might have another case against TU...lmbo.

    I'll give it a shot, Marc, but give me a day or two. We changed from Lexis to Westlaw and I'm not as good on Westlaw...lol. (Basically I don't know how to use it very well...lol).
