Wierdest thing happened today. TransUnion who I have not sent a dispute to in months sent me a copy of my credit report, no disputes noted on it or anything. Well a few months ago my FICO on it was around 540 or somewhere close. I had a few negatives including a Chapter 13 BK. So I open it up and I see a copy of my credit report. It somehow went from 5 pages to half a page. Only listed 2 positive accounts and one negative and they gave me my FICO at 704! Not that I am gonna complain or anything but what the heck happened. I had about 5 positives reporting a few months ago which are now gone but then so are all of my negatives as well. Im sure my positives will show up again because they all report monthly. This is just really weird. Is it to good to be true, did they make a mistake?

I don't know if they made a mistake or not, but, your positive accts. will not reappear. TU does a hard delete known as cloaking. You most likely will have to call and raise hell to get them back on, but it can be done. They did it to me. Why not call and ask when the changes took place? In any event, congrats.

Just make sure you have your 9-digit File Identification Number.
