Will Citi waive the balance transfer fee on the platinum select card? The offer I have is the 2.9% for 9 months, but it states there is a fee of up to $29. I was able to get BOA to waive it with a phone call. Also, the go-to rate is prime plus 8.99%. I have seen posts here that state they are great to work with, and this will probably be the last card I apply for, so I have to decide whether to take this offer or wait for a better one from them. The go-to rate is too high, most of my other cards have a lower rate, but from posts here it looks as though I may be able to have that lowered. My son's rate has come down with the prime rate without his requesting it.
