My TU is currently at 730. I do have 1 charge off from 6 years ago and have never missed a payment in the past 5.5 years. I currently have an AMEX green card and a cap 1 platinum card. Do you think BofA will give me their platinum card? Are they score driven? Thanks in advance.

Hey, I had almost the same question, but now my real question was does BofA use the Trans Union FICO or Trans Union own system based score.

Is your score the Trans Union FICO?

I would venture to say that if you've got AmEx Green, BofA shouldn't be a problem. Which Cap1 Platinum do you have? Rather, is it a high credit line card w/no annual fee?
I can't imagine that AmEx would approve you and BofA wouldn't. Also, Cap1's "premium" cards tend to be a little difficult to get IMO, so I'd say go for it...'course, I'm not the one who takes the FICO hit, but I think you've got a pretty good chance. BofA was the first bank to give me a CL over $1000 (they gave me a $7,000 MC when I had $300 w/Crap1).

I dont have a BK. I do have a chargeoff that is at 0 balance now (paid in settlement). My tu fico is at 730, equifax is at 688, and God knows what Experian is at.

Oh btw, are BofA decisions instant? Or, will they make me sweat it out? Also, what other companies pull TU exclusively and have instant decisions?

If you apply for BOA, then its an instant decision made usually using TU, although it goes by geographic location. I would say they (BOA) pull TU 90% of the time (computer decision by FICO score and credit info).

sorry Amy that I didnt respond earlier. I did a search a found out that I made a response then you answered and I never replied. Anyway, in Virginia, BofA pulls TU, but I have no idea about BofA biz because I wish I could apply for one, but have no clue.
