My current scores are all around 620. I have a couple old collections that are 5 and 6 years old and a BRAND NEW JUDGEMENT from june 2004.
I only have one open account that reports. It is my cap one card that is paid as agreed/never late, 14 months old and CL is $850 and I owe $2.
My mother is willing to add me as an AU to her CC and it has perfect payment history, was opened in 1994 and has a CL of $18,000 and she owes under $40.
Will this help my score? About how much?

Being added as an AU should give you a bit of a bump (how much is anybody's guess), but the recent judgment is a real score-killer. I'd work on getting the older derogs removed, since they're so old already.

i was added to my wife's capital one card as an authorized user. she had the account for about 4 years now. it numped my score up about 20 points. i was very happy with the results of being added on.
