First of all, thanks to all of you. After doing a lot of reading, I decided to take a crack at cleaning up my reports. 5 derogs gone ( out of 11) after a simple dispute! Three of the remaining are unpaid collections. I am willing to pay them in full in exchange for deletion. Will adding "endorsment of this check signifies your agreement to the following terms...." do the trick? Better ideas? Thanks again! I'd go the validation route before I'd offer to pay for deletion. If they can't prove it's yours, why should you pay? As far as endorsing the check with some fancy language, do a search here for "restrictive endorsement" and see what you can find.
