Ummm.... You have exactly the same information on BOTH your Eq and your TU reports?...each show the same accounts? all the balances are identically listed? All the dates? I find that hard to believe that would be the case. So now that the discrepency between the scores is understandable, did you get the Eq score through myfico.com? did you get the lenders TU score also through myfico.com? If so then they are both real FICO scores. -Peace, Dave

The spread on my "real" FICO's is even worse: TU - 758, EQ - 696 A lot of people on this board have lots of trouble with TU, but their version of my report is the most accurate and complete. EQ (& Experian) has difficulty maintaining accurate information on me. EQ had all my old (paid off) mortgages listed as installment loans and then gave me a negative reason code of "too many installment loans." I made the mistake of disputing them as real estate loans and some were updated and others were deleted, the deleted positive tradelines lowering my score. Stupid me. I think this just points out how useless a FICO score is when, as CRA's are, you're dealing with incomplete info.

Re: Will The Real Fico Pls Stand Up I've wondered if the scoring algorithm is the exact same for each of the bureaus. After there are slight differences in the information stored in the file. And for me TU often really lags in updating balances.
