OK, I've just gotten SIX deletions from Equifax (private student loans) and two more from Experian. These were accounts that have been reporting every month. The last time they reported was last month. Now that they have been deleted, what are the chances they show back up? They were all deleted due to failure to respond. What are your experiences with Equifax and Experian and reinsertions (especially of recent accounts)?
All of my deletions have stayed off. Mine were older though. However, most likely if they are re-inserted, you will not be notified by the CRA and therefore have them on another violation. A letter saying "cloak the un-veriyable listing or suffer the consequesces" should suffice. Congrats on the deletions!! -Peace, Dave
Thanks Sal. One of these days I'm gonna post what I USED to have on my reports and what I have now. I must have gotten over 60 or so deletions in the past year (not including about 80 inquiries).
During my repair sentence, I had 2 items reappear out of I think it was 57. One of them was part of my credit data s.w. lawsuit. They couldn't provide the proof that the oc "certified" it as mine. It came off with the lawsuit. 2nd was goof schmucks, I mean gulf state. I eventually called Sam Shannon the compliance mgr and had it permanently taken care of. 2 out of 57 is a pretty good record. If any should reappear, remember, the oc or ca must certify it as correct. You have the right to see that. If the cra cannot provide it, they must delete it.
Haha...I've thought about contracting myself out. I've actually had people make me offers. BUT there are too many rules and regs - I'm not interested in dotting my i's and crossing my t's. Thanks for the input folks. I've got my fingers crossed.
