My mother has some credit cards that were opened about 7-8 years before my oldest one. If she put me on as an authorized user, would this benefit my credit score at all? Currently, Equifax is saying:

"The length of time your accounts have been established is relatively short"

My oldest account is currently only 94 months old. She has one thats probably easily over 150 months old. What do you all think? Is it worth doing?

    Probably.

Just make sure she has no lates or high ratio's.

FICO does consider the average age of accounts, and your mom's 150 month history should help you out, especially if you have opened a lot of new accounts recently.

Yeah I think so too ACX.

Might just try one at a time and see what happens.

    Let us know.
