On charge offs that have verified has anyone then disputed the DOLA in the hopes of making it older than it is so it will be closer to falling off?

    Hey,

That would be a great idea, but I would think if you do that and it comes back verified as correct (to their bad bookeeping), you'd be stuck if you tried to dispute it as 'not mines' later ?

I am guessing that by saying the date is wrong, you are admitting it is yours ;-(

I would worry if you haven't done anything to the tradeline in years, and they have left you alone, and you dispute it as 'not mines' they won't bother looking, and delete it.
But, when you say the DOLA is wrong, they will REALLY dig and find it?

I hope that makes sense ;-)

I know I asked more questions than answered.
