I have been reading the posts recently and find that much of the information about requesting validation and disputing credit accounts seems to originate from [my web site]. Any comments please? John
Why pay for it when most of it sounds like puffery...and what isn't, you can find here for FREE? Just where is the "Fair Credit Debt Reporting Act" listed as this guy mentions in his testimonial section? There is no such thing. Fair Credit Reporting Act, yes. But FCDRA? Hmm. Makes me wonder how much of this is worth anything. I'd steer clear of it and keep reading Creditnet. There's a lot of sage advice here, all free. Best of luck to you.
Right, I know you can get my work here for free, the plagiarized or perverted versions. But what happens when you get sued. These people on this forum don't know what to tell you, or they give you bad advice. With the plagiarized versions of my work, you don't get the whole story, so if you follow it, you're hung out to dry. I just wondered if anyone made that connect yet. John
Well I made the SPAM sandwich connection if that's what you mean!!!!!!!(lol) ... That's why I made the question(lol)!!!!
I'm glad you're so smart. I hardly think my comments can be unsolicited (spam as you say) since I first published this information. In any case, I think it's only responsible that we explain to people that there is more to this than just a form letter. If some of you only want to make juvenile comments, I don't think it would be helpful to the serious people who subscribe to this forum for assistance. John
Geez, you didn't read what I said. PROOF YOUR OWN WEBSITE! TO CORRECT YOUR MISTAKE ON YOUR WEBSITE, READ ON. Here is what you have on your site, incorrectly: "...the collection agency, but Equifax apparently ignoring of the Fair Credit Debt Reporting Act. I even included my pending ..." Now what Federal law can I use to make self-promoting spammers like you go away permanently? Oh, I know. I don't need a law, just a delete key.
A few notes: 1) takingchg, you are quoting a customer's testimonial from that site rather than the site's webmaster. 2) A search of Google.com for "debt validation" reveals tens of thousands of sites which discuss the topic. Link: CLICK HERE. 3) Validation is a consumer right mentioned within the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. 4) We do not allow members to promote their commercial activities on this board. Thank you for your cooperation. CCN steve
