I became a retail stockbroker in1981 and before we took our Series 7, the guy prepping us for the exam told us we'd be given a voluntary questionaire about our socio-economic background. He told us we could do what we wished but, if a certain percentage of miniority groups took the test, the average passing grade would be lowered. There 26 WASP males in my class. There were probably 250 or so people in the exam room. My little group all became black females for testing purposes. Now to Experian! I am going to become a millionaire M.D. in perfect health with a 30 year marriage and 2 kids in Ivy League Universities. Reckon that may shake loosee a few pre-approved 0% BT offers? I want coupons, I'll buy a Sunday newspaper! BTW Gumbo-nice catch on reading the fine print.
