I have read how people use the method of pulling up the WK report daily and it bumps off some of the inquiries. What am I doing wrong, this isn't working for me? (Even though, the inquiries are probably the least of my worries). I've pulled numerous times, and all the inquiries are still there from before. Thanks! Missig
There seems to be a different magic number for different people. So you may have to have patience. Some people, it never works for. Others, instead of getting what they want, end up with a split file, which is a bad, bad thing.
Jlynn, I got one for you... ALL of my inqs are gone. Only one on there as of yesterday is the one from wk that I pulled before I got my tu report. Called tu to make sure my file didn't split...again. She did a search by social and said no split. Still trying to figure out wtf. They couldn't see the report I was looking at because I have 1 disp pending. Said they can't pull updated report until after disp is completed. I am assuming that the one I pulled yesterday is the most current. I am SO baffled. FACO jumped 70 something points w/o bk and inqs. All other info is right. I'm sure they will reappear as mysteriously as they disappeared. I wonder...if I print the report and keep it in a safe place. Then when they re-appear, call them and say "WTF happened!!! Here's a copy of my report...I don't know what y'all just did to me, but these arent mine!!!" Think it would work? I know, just kidding.
Well....actually, um, it worked for me once with CSC (EQ), during a dispute they removed all my lates from GMAC acct. several days later, before the dispute was over they reinserted. I wrote them a very "im insulted" letter, that on such and such a date they were gone, and now they have been reinserted blah blah. They removed the lates again, and I haven't seen them since.
I'm sure the odds of them keeping ALL my inqs AND bk off are laughable, though. I think I will frame the report...hee hee...for my own gratification (no, NOT self-gratification, lol)
It took me about 2 months of pulling worthknowing everyday. bumped off 7 inquires. You should be careful. I have been using bumpage on equifax for 6 months now. My inquires were at a steady 170. Today when i looked at my report they chopped off 120 of them and deleted my oldest tradeline. My history went from 8 years to 5. Nice 18 point drop in score.
Geez, I'm at 190 inquiries on Equifax, and can't get bumpage. I panic everytime I pull now, afraid it is going to be the straw that broke the camel's back.
For the sake of giving pointers, I wish I knew what happened to my inqs... Will post when I get it figured out....or when they come back, lol,...whichever is sooner.
