I have been trying to get an old CA of my TU for a few months now disputing as obsolete which it would have been in November with no luck. Finally I was declared frivolous by TU about a week ago. This was the only negative item on my TU and I pulled my report today and it is GONE!! CAN YOU SAY GONE!? DISAPPEARED!? DELETED!? My FAKO went from 759 to 803 and I couldn't resist on getting my TU FICO which went from 690 to 761!!! OMG! All I can say is that that last negative, even a almost 7 year old one, makes all the difference!! YIPPY!! Now all i have left is a satisfied judgement on EX and EQ from '97 which doesn't seem to be having much of an impact on my scores and I was able to get decent limits on CITI and GM CARD. I AM VERY VERY VERY HAPPY!!!! Can you guys tell?????

TU was very frustrating for me at one point... they were reporting 8 old student loans at one point and when i disputed them as obsolete (they almost were) , not only did they say they were verified, but they also removed the dates that they were closed which made my score take a dive more than 100 pts.!!! And then tried to explain that to them and they have no idea what you are talking about! But persistance finaly paid off in a BIG way!! Thanks to everyone!!
