Okay, I know this is silly. But I'm at work and cannot jump up and down and scream pure joy. But I'd like to report to you all, my first deletion off of my TU report of an old pd Charge off...woooooooohooooooooooo!!!

I cannot contain my excitement. Okay now for the question, see TU couldnt validate it and consequently is deleting it. How can experian have validated it?? Can I send them TU's report ??

Thank you again, everyone on the board. This first one is just proof of the work that I have and will be continuing to do!!!

Sorry if any typo's ---happy fingers!!

Experian doesn't validate anything. CA's validate. For that matter, Exp doesn't verify anything either. I can't tell you how many things I've gotten deleted off TU and/or EQ that EXP verifies every time. They'll be seeing me in court in a month or two.

Possibly. I wanted to test them out before I disputed several items to see if that was true. I disputed an account with DMB as "never late" just to see what they would do(it had several 120+ days late noted on my CR). I had an account there, but it's paid off(as of Jan '03) and DMB has NO records of me...no matter what I give them...I can give them my account number and they can't find me. SSN? Still can't find me. So I disputed with EXP and they must have checked into it because I got an email today saying my results were in. I checked and they deleted DMB from my report. Now for 2 more disputes as not mine. I hope they work because EQ and TU have already deleted.

Every now and again you get lucky. I actually have one thing deleted off them that I can't get deleted anywhere else. For the most part though...they suck.

Experian is by far my toughest CRA.

Sorry Atlanta about the whole validate/verify mix up, I was just excited and used the wrong term. In anycase, I know the company Im trying to get my mortgage through uses Equifax, so the whole Experian thing isnt so dire right now. But I do agree with you that they should have to verify just like the other two CRA's.

Good Luck with the lawsuit, let us know how it turns out.
