I am working to buy a house in Northern California but have a few itemsin my way. My credit reports has 4 or 5 negative items on it and I am looking for suggestion on how to approach each item. I was able to get about 5 to 7 negative items off so far by disputing it with the credit agencies. I am now faced with trying to figure out how to work through the rest. Most of them are fairly small (under $500) and a reposession in the last year. What is the approach I should take on the small items? Should I contact the creditors to work through this? How can I get the reposession off, is there a way to work with the lender here.?

My credit score still remains at around 550. I have open 3 new lines of credit over the last year, and have been very diligent to pay them on time. How can I improve my credit score to 650? Also does it make sense to know have someone like Lexington Law Firm help me out with this? Has anybody worked with them with success. Thanks

Are these accounts paid, or do you still owe on them?

The accounts are still owed. I am going to pay them off but not sure what to do with the reposession.
