Called Worldpoints today to check on my app and I was grilled by a Credit Catalyst. He wanted to know why I did not have any credit history over two years, did I have credit issues, etc.. All my credit reports are clean I have pretty decent scores. He said that Worldpoints requires good credit responsibility for several years. I told him that I have an account on EQ that is over seven years and since they don't pull EQ I have some pretty decent credit cards and wasn't hard press for theirs. Later.

Useful info. Thanks for bringing this up. I've had credit for over 30 years, and the old TL I have is only about 7 years. All those blessed years of perfect credit count for NOTHING now that my credit is blemished. It's really irritating.

I almost wish there was a law that they were required to save some of the POSITIVE TL from the earliest days that someone starts a credit file.

I just updated my personal info (removed old names and old addresses) and now I'm scared that even my one GOOD aged TL might fall off! We'll see!
