Does anyone know if the website worthknowing.com is still active. I've tried their address but no luck. I am trying to get some inquiries bumped and I understand that inquiries can be bumped off by reviewing my report several times a day. I contacted the CRA via CRRR letter and they responded with the inquiries are there because each creditor had a "permissible purpose". I've also sent CRRR letters to the creditors asking and then demanding they contact the CRA's to have them removed but they did not respond. Any suggestions? Duke
The CRAs don't know if their customers have permissible purpose, they only know that they claimed they had permissible purpose. based on what you know, did the inquirers have "permissible purpose"? Were these reports pulled due to a transaction you initiated, or due to collection on a debt you owe?
ontrack, thanks for the response. the reports were pulled due to transactions initiated by me. However, when I sent my letters to the CRAs, TU and EX responded with copies and "permissible purpose" after each creditors name. I received the responses within 2-3 weeks. EQ actually did delete. Also, do you know or have you ever heard of worthknowing? do you know how to get the inquiries off?
You can attempt contacting the actual entities who accessed your reports and requesting from them directly the permissible purpose they had necessary to conduct the aforesaid inquiry. Short of that, your stuck with it on Experian and Trans Union absent implementing the True Credit method.
