You get the TU report. You can only get new report every three months I believe, but can look at it daily. But, there is a trick where you can cancel your Membership(I'm not sure that is the right name) and sign up again. I was doing that every few weeks so I could get a new report on a semi regular basis. And, best of all, you get the very valuable worthknowing score, FREE!!!! Yes, absolutely free. It is without a doubt the most worthless of the scores available. Many here get a five, even with a good history (I think it goes to 100).
Karen, I am one of the one's getting a 5 on WK. I don't get it. It pulls TU and on my TU report my score is 732. Doesn't make sense, does it?? Anyway, you have to sign up for report and after you get it cancel the account. The next day start all over.
1 free TU report every 90 days - refreshed (or new) report is $5.00 each time. The free report is done as a soft PRM inquiry. You have unlimited access to the free report for 90 days but it's a saved (read: not updated) report, so the info would never change for the 90 days. Not much help if you're trying to track a lot of credit improvements, but not a bad product if you just want to keep an eye on your report throughout the year and don't want to pay for a report. They give you a WorthKnowing score, which is nothing like FICO or even FAKO, although, it actually makes more sense than any of the CRA or FICO scores. (1-100 instead of 150-934 or 300-850, etc.) Then you can see "pre-qualified" offers based on your score and apply if you want. If you apply, you get a Hard Inq from the actual Creditor. I noticed that none of my disputed items were listed as "disputed" and they All showed up, even though a dispute is in progress.
I am among those lumped in the "5" catagory. But my other scores aren't that great either! So you only have to wait a day to sign up for a new account?
I got 100 the first time I did it...I OWED PROBABLY $50,000 MORE AT THAT TIME THAN I DO NOW... Now I have been 50-59!!! I ALWAYS HAVE SAID IT IS ALMOST WORTH WHAT YOU PAY FOR IT!!! It would be nice if they gave you a $20.00 GAS STATION GIFT CARD for using their service!!! www.worthknowing.com
