After a lot of effort, I got on to the Worthknowing site. My score is gradually improving. Now 56. Was 50 a few months ago. On the site, they give you a bunch of cards you qualify for based on your score. Does this mean that if you apply, you will get the card because you already qualify? Or is it a typical preapproval, you qualify to apply? Of interest, they do say most only want your SS# and name. Has anyone ever applied and received the cards as advertised? Or, have you been turned down for the cards as advertised? I am assuming these cards will pull TU and that is my best report.
Do a search on worthknowing here and you will find some pretty interesting opinions. If you want an accurate TU score, I suggest you get it from TU (now available online). Even though these cards advertise on the site, what CB is pulled is based on I believe your geographic location. Check out Millcbs.com to be sure. I would be very cautious about using worthknowing as a reliable source for your a)credit report and b) referral of cards. Good luck.
My expereince (not with WK site, but in general) is if you are preapproved by one report, they will pull a different one. I never trust that stuff - early on I used a site that prequalified you for cards, and I got a bunch of inquiries (they said only one, hahahaha). with declines, except for a secured card. I already had unsecured cards, so I was ticked.
I can't get anything online. The CRA's keep merging my reports with those of other people so whenever I log in, the info does not match their records. It is almost impossible to get it by mail. Still waiting for the TU report I requested a month ago.
Oh wow! There are some things you can do about that. I'm not the expert but we have some here. sounds like you may have a lawsuit. Is it affecting your ability to get credit?
I have other issues that prevent me from getting credit. But I am working on them and hope to make substantial progress this month.
