paid collection as an unpaid one and try to get them to validate? Instead of doing nutcase first?

My reasoning is this - I never dealt with this CA, I paid the OC before this went to collection. I have no idea how this company got ahold of it but I'm thinking they might find it impossible to validate. So when they can't do that, I can move for deletion with the CRA.

If that doesn't work, then I'll try nutcase.

Or should I just stop thinking so much, go nutcase and pray it gets deleted that way?

Am I correct in understanding that this CA does not have a permissible purpose to pull a hard inq. since the account is paid? So they will be kind of fumbling in the dark, wondering what I'm talking about, and will delete just to be rid of me b/c they're not allowed to pull my CR?

    Thank you!

Send Validation with CMRR. As soon as you get the green card back , online dispute "not mine"print out the Case confirmation and #
. It will get deleted. If they verify, send a latter to CRA and ask them everything....procedural evidence, with an intent to sue.
