It was absolutely not crass and George is not bragging. He was making a point. You obviously haven't been around long enough to know George. If you had, you'd know he was not bragging. Your comment "wow George. It must make you feel inportant to have so many good cards" was way out of line. You know what, he should feel important to have so many good cards and because he is a great valued member here. My advice to you is to get over it.
Capital One wants so bad to issue the most Visa cards in the country they will go to any means. Anyone applying for a job with Cap1 will get on their mailing list for the preapproved card. When I applied for a job with them, I had never heard of them as being in the top 5 of issuers in the country. After going through the phone interview process I recieved one of their offers in the mail a few weeks later. Coincidence? No. Robert
ng...I know its hard not to be jealous that others have better credit, but they have *earned* it and let me tell you...if I ever have the cards George has, I'll be telling all of you here that will listen because it will be because of this board that I have them at all!
