I applied for a Chase Card Sunday night on-line. Monday they pulled an inquiry from TU. Today in the mail I received my card (Universal Platinum) with a credit limit of $8500.00. I never received a card this fast.
My TU score is/was 703. However, I do have a collection for $240.00. It is an old medical collection due to fall off in January of 2004. I have disputed this several times with no luck. I even sent the CA all the letters, from Validation to Intent to Sue (TU does have it noted on my report as â??disputed by consumer). Anyway, I guess because it is old and a â??medicalâ?? collection for such a small amount it does not harm me too much anymore. Hope this helps. Sandie
As long as your able to get new credit I would just let it fall off in 2004. A TU rep told me that when it has 3 months to go they will lots of times delete it for you if you ask since it's so close and it saves them money by not having to verify it.

I never received a card this fast. I just checked my Equifax report and believe it or not, Chase is already reporting on there today, Tuesday. That is 12 days after applying on-line and three days after receiving the card in the mail. Anyone else have this quick experience with Chase?
NOT THAT QUICK...but I got "JACKED" to 16.24% and DENIED the same card because their computer "THINKS" I have a 30 day late on a CLOSED account...
