    Newbie here...
I pulled all 3 credit reports and this is what I found from Experian
    Personal Information
    1) Shows me at 6 addresses in California (I live in Illinois) that I have no clue where they are.
    2) Under name variations it shows 3 different last names that are not mine.
    3) Under social security number variations it shows the last 4 digits of someones social that is not mine or my husbands
    4) Under Spouse or Co-Applicant it shows Richard (who is Richard?)
It goes on with phone numbers that are incorrect and places of employment.

    Now this is the kicker,,
I have 5 accounts that are not mine but are all in good standing (paid never/late)...There is a Toyota car loan, Sallie Mae, Macy's, Sears, Shell. For the Toyota car loan it has under Responsibily;Signer with Richard _____ showing his last name. Sooo confused.
So, should I just call experian directly or what is the first step I should take? This is only on my Experian report..Help!
    Thank You!

Wow! Contact Experian immediately and report the fraud. Are you saying your other 2 reports are fine, but Experian's report is the only one with all of this incorrect information?

Formally dispute the addresses, names, phone numbers, SSNs, and everything else they incorrectly have on your reports. Hopefully this is just a data entry error on their part and not actually a case of identity theft.

When was the last time your checked your credit reports?

Yes, the other 2 reports are accurate except Equifax shows me employed with the US Army......other than that, everything else was accurate.

Assuming it is identity theft, why would someone want my credit? Mine stinks and this person obviously cares because all there credit is paid on time/no lates or even paid off.

Last time I pulled my report was 2 years ago and there were no issues.

I'm calling Experian and I'll keep you all posted
Thanks again JoshuaHeckathorn, I appreciate your feedback.

Sounds more like this is some kind of data entry error to me. Once your report is updated with the correct SSN, it should help to clear up all the misinformation.

Yes that is exactly what it was. They are sending me an updated report with all my information.
