I won in small claims court against a corporation that owed me money. This corporation has a checking account with bank of america.

The next step is to get a Writ of Execution against this company so that I can collect my money from their bank account. However, their bank account is already being frozen by the government due to an investigation.

They have not signed the money over to the government so it is still owned by the corporation but the government has the account frozen.

Even though the account is frozen, if Bank of America is served with my court order to release the funds owed to me from their bank account, will Bank of America be able to comply despite the frozen status?

I would think so since the government doesn't own the money...they are just preventing the company from withdrawling it. However, I would like to know for sure before requesting this from the court.
