Odd question, I know, but does anyone know if there's much of a difference between typing dispute letters and handwriting them?

Anyone have more luck doing one or the other?

    Just wonderin...

    thanx

I wouldn't want to send them anything with my handwriting, personally... what if they used it to verify your signature or something?

I think its ok for you to send in written letters if you prefer to do it that way.

I would, however, disguise my signature so that they couldn't cross compare it to any signatures on credit applications they might be able to obtain from original creditors

I have had the same degree of sucess with written disputes as with typed ones.

Realize though that the big three CRAs have a difficult enough time reading and reponding to typed letters so.....

If you write out your dispute be brief and to the point.

And take some comfort that a written letter will not be as readily recognizable as one of the thousands of "copied off the internet" credit repair letters they receive every day.

    Good Luck!
