Ok guys, here is one for you to chew on and give me your thoughts!!!! I tried to get all three reports (and even PAY for them) because I am begining my credit rehab and the information contained on them is SOOOOO messed up (they dont even have the right DOB and its no where near close) they always say they can't verify my identity and I never get my report. I only found this out because Equisux DID let me get to my report (and their reports BLOW) and thats how I figured all this out. To make matters worse, I was named after my dad (who died a few years ago) and I have some of HIS krap on my report. I plan to dispute everything due to that and the DOB. Any ideas. I can't even get to my reports to dispute. Will I be able to get to use creditexpert???? Any ideas or suggestions would be great!!!! My FICO is 488. I might as well give up and only use cash till i DIE
You can fax your information to creditexpert. You will need a current bill and your drivers liscense. The phone number to fax to is 800-660-3986. My wife went through this and they really helped out. After you fax them you call the number 1-800-787-6864 to talk to them in person.
HOT DOG, I was able to view my experian report!!!! It looks UGLY but hey its a start Can I dispute through Creditexpert??? Do they work or is it better to do the old snail mail??? Equisux 488 Nasty Experian 542 Some Hope TransUnion ???? dunno
While you are viewing your report, select an account to view the account details. While the account details are on the screen, you should have a choice that says "Request Investigation" or "Return to Summary". Choose Request Investigation, and a drop down box will appear for you to choose why you want it investigated, then click submit.
Is there a number to call to dispute personal info. as Experian? I've been trying all day and cant get a human being.
