If you have run across this web site ( www.reportdeadbeats.com ) it is run by a resident of Japan named Chow Chin who uses an Internet Service based in India. He has a very basic grasp of English and is trying to pass himself off as the Savior of the Creditor Class. His web site has 20 posts on his message board - all posted by Chin. All I can say is, I hope some creditors are stupid enough to follow this jerk's advice - I could use some extra money in time for Christmas. Chin seems to be computer savvy (he was able to find my wife's name in a matter of minutes) but I think his Prozac prescription needs stregnthening. A recent e-mail to me rant is that he gave Equifax some secret information that will have my suit against them dismissed. Trial is on the 23rd of this month and no attorney representing EFX has even filed a Notice of Appearance, so a default Judgement looks pretty obvious. I doubt EFX will fly a Corporate Officer from Atlanta to Tucson for the $2000 I am suing over. Chin's latest rant to me was that EFX has instructed him to investigate my wife (for what he did not say). My response was if they do, EFX wll be defending a lawsuit. Beware, this guy seems to be a couple of cans short of a six-pack.
He found me. I post on 2 boards - thi and Creditinsiders. I also post on collectionindustry.com but only to take on Bill Bauer. Chin e-mailed me to let me know that I was being added to his web site as 'aiding and abetting deadbeats". It escalated from there rapidly.
So he's looking for people on the collection boards. Makes sense, I guess. Maybe they'll spend all their time with him and ignore our lawsuits.
i had something recently happen like that at a different board, say the wrong thing, exchange some words, and all hell breaks loose...that just seems freakshow...hope you dont end up suffering from it.

Latest correspondance with Chow ok i am an idiot but i am wondering here....by you posting these comments on this chin guy..arent you defaming him..and uh....cant he sue you for that...and the email thing..always wondered about this.....there are a few suits I have read about where the IM and email logs cannot be used..and if they are kept they are considered wire tapping depending on the state they were received in. Latest correspondance with Chow No law was broken that I see. If she/he quoted what he said and gave him credit for saying it she/he broke no law. Also, research the law a little more. One may only assert a claim for actual damages for defamation after they demand a retraction and, in any event, the truth of the alleged defamatory post is a complete defense.
