Heard from their customer service. They are not taking into account other balances. I will be closing the account. I will keep my relationship with PayPal. problems closing x.com acct I have been trying to close my X.com account for the past 6 days...2 emails to closeaccount@x.com. Not only can I still log on, my balance is still there. If you were successful in closing your account please tell me how you did it and how long it took. Alison
